Tournament Details Fishing Times Lines in at 7:30 am Lines out at 3:30 pm Species Tuna (Blackfin, Yellowfin, Big Eye) Dolphin King Mackerel Wahoo Weigh-in 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm Charleston City Marina or Bohicket Marina Fish may be brought by boat or car Club Points per species 50 - 1st place 30 - 2nd place 20 - 3rd place 10 - 4th place 25 bonus points will be awarded to each boat weighing or tagging a dolphin. Boats do not have to be in the TWT to qualify for club points. TWT $100 per category Dolphin Tuna - Wahoo King Mackerel Aggregate (aggregate of each boat's largest fish of each category) 50% - 35% - 15% Year-long Calcutta may be entered at this tournament. $100.00 per category to be paid out at the Year End Banquet. Please have at least one member from each boat attend the Captain's Meeting Everyone is reminded to review NMFS and SCDNR rules and regulations. It is the Captiain's responsibility to assure that the team has secured all necessary licenses and permits, as well as all regulations and limits observed.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Dolphin Days Billfish Division ~ Entrants must enter base tournament to enter the Billfish level. ~ Boats in division must abide by current NMFS rules for Billfish tournaments. J-hooks with artificial lures only (no bait). Period. ~ Billfish release TWT is $150.00 and will be paid at 50% - 35%- 15% ~ Season long Billfish release TWT is $250.00 and will be paid at 50% - 35%- 15% to be awarded at the Year End Banquet. Boats may enter at any billfish tournament. ~ Tournament points: Blue Marlin = 25 points White Marlin = 15 points Sailfish = 10 points Any Billfish that can not be properly identified will be awarded 5 points. ~ All hookups, releases, and lost fish will be called into a Committee Boat. ~ Each boat is responsible for providing its own digital camera or video for release documentation. Cards to be turned in at weigh in and retruned at the Awards party. We recommend providing a card that documents only the days fishing. Photos must document a fish with hand on leader or swivel at rod tip and include the proper ribbon in the photo. Be sure to make certain that the fish can be properly identified to assure maximum credit. ~ A completed DNR release card must be turned in at weigh in for each fish. ~ Year End points based on place = 50-30-20-10. (Boat and Angler points)
